A Little about UsOur Mission Casting and Auditions Our Studio The Performances Calendar Show Pricing Our Mission The Lollie Bombs are a performance troupe combining a variety of styles and subject matter with the ever popular structure of the strip tease. Our shows are an eclectic batch of routines that can explore soft and silky before switching gears to loud and ruff. Subject matter might deal with super heroes and cowboys, then jump to zombies followed by a virgin sacrifice. Our main focus is to produce a show that entertains as well as enhances the audiences prospective of live performance. All routines are professionally choreographed to keep our show moving at a fast enjoyable pace that leaves an audiences begging for more. With over 50 solos in our repertoire and a dozen or more group and duet routines we have a little something for everyone. Whether it is classic Burlesque or Rockabilly, there is a good chance we have what you like. Back to Top Casting and Auditions The Lollie Bombs Burlesque Shows. are in a constant state of renewal and change. In the last 3 years we have had a total of 19 ladies come and go. Some are just passing through, others stay for an amount of time determined solely by their own priorities. Because of this generous structure with no contracts involved, we are always interested in auditioning new talent. Back to Top Our Studio Sugar Cone Studio is home away from home in beautiful downtown across from Dallas Heritage Village, the oldest park in the metroplex. A private studio managed by Mr. Eric Hall and Miss Penny Mae Saylor, it is here the Lollie Bombs rehearse and Mr. Hall works on choreography for the group. The studio is outfitted with a small costume shop ran by Miss Saylor, as well as a prop and set shop, both separate from the rehearsal studio. The rehearsal studio is equipped with a 12' x 16' raised platform stage and rigging for fabric and lyra rehearsals. Back to Top The Performances The structure of a performance is usually determined by the client’s needs. Our productions can be 2 hours long or 15 minutes long. As stated previously we have over 50 solos in our repertoire and a dozen or more group and duet routines. All choreographed, costumed, and ready to go. The subject matter might contain a Valentine’s Day theme, or maybe a sexy girl with a shotgun as a phallus. We have a very broad span of routines. Back to Top Calendar Back to Top Show Pricing The type of show, the number of performers, and the amount of additional technical support needed determines the cost of a show. The Basic Show Template: - basic routines (cops and robbers, fans, hula hoops, balloons, etc.) -approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes including a 15 intermission. -14 routines -6 girls -one panty wrangler -one spot light -one spot light operator -backdrop projection graphics -projector technician -one stage manager -one production manager.
